July 2016 Chapter Meeting

Dissecting What’s Going Right and Wrong in Bond Land

MarilynCohen

Marilyn Cohen
President, Envision Capital Management, Inc., Forbes, Columnist

Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:00AM

In this presentation, Marilyn will discuss two major sectors; municipal bonds (both taxable and tax free) and corporates. Municipal bond sink holes are plentiful yet contagion hasn’t occurred. Marilyn will share some of her best “Pillow Portfolio” muni ideas and the tools you need to stay current.

Corporate bonds; on the other hand, are the mirror opposite of municipals; downgrades exceed upgrades, bloated balance sheets equal deterioration and the M & A activity can be deadly to your positions. She will cover tenders, change of control provisions, covenants being stripped and how to navigate around it all.

Attend this Meeting and Learn
• How to select, manage and monitor individual bonds.
• The tools and flexibility individual bonds can add to balance your portfolio.
• You’ll walk away with some investment ideas you never thought bonds could generate.
