Wayne Thorp will outline AAII’s new investment discovery, analysis and tracking service: A+ Investor. A+ Investor provides online tools for the evaluation of stocks, mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), as well as portfolio tracking and analysis. He will demonstrate how these A+ Investor tools allow you to quickly winnow down a universe of over 6,200 stocks to those that look promising via AAII preprogrammed stock screens. On the fund side, he will show how the A+ Investor tools do the same for a universe of over 25,200 funds and 2,300 exchange-traded funds (ETFs). He will also show how to track and analyze your holdings and see the A–F fund grades assigned in important areas like return, volatility, expenses, turnover, etc.

About our Speaker
Wayne A. Thorp, CFA, is the senior financial analyst and a vice president at AAII. Thorp has written extensively on technical analysis, stock screening and stock analysis. He is editor of the Stock Superstars Report (SSR) advisory service and the Educated Investor email series, highlighting AAII content for potential members. Thorp is also the product manager for the Stock Investor Pro computerized fundamental database and screening program and serves on the Dividend Investing (DI) advisory committee. He is also the former editor of AAII’s Computerized Investing service.
Wayne was awarded the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2002, and has been with AAII since 1997. He is a 1997 graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
