This presentation will discuss the tax proposal that is currently in Congress and will have an update on that proposal at that time. Scott Hensley will explain what it will mean to investors and discuss several tax planning opportunities.

About our Speaker

Scott Hensley, JD, CPA joined Stancil & Company in 2004 and focuses primarily in the Firm’s tax compliance and tax planning service areas. Prior to joining Stancil & Company, Scott worked in the tax department for PricewaterhouseCoopers for five years where he served a number of middle market businesses in Eastern North Carolina.

Scott is a current member of the Triangle Red Cross Board and the Friends of the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. He has also participated as a consultant to businesses through the Business Accelerator for Sustainable Entrepreneurship Program with the University of North Carolina School of Business.

Scott is a graduate of NC State University and The John Marshall Law School. Scott is a licensed attorney in the State of North Carolina and a member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He currently resides in Raleigh.
